She races to her sexual spring before her body betrays her.

OMER TOBI / Writer & Director

Writer/Director Omer Tobi was born 1989 in Tel-Aviv to parents of Moroccan Tunisian origin. His recent short film, "Set me as a seal upon thine heart", had its international premiere at 2018 Sundance festival, and was screened at Locarno Festival and in many festivals around the world. In summer 2018 Tobi attended two weeks of workshops at Locarno Filmmakers Academy. His previous short film, "Hounds", won a number of awards, among them: Best Comedy at Aspen Shorts fest, Special Jury Mention at the AFI Fest, Best Independent Short at Haifa International film, and screened at more than 40 film festivals around the world.  In addition to his cinematic film work Tobi also created a primetime drama series,  "Eyes don’t Lie", for Keshet Israel in which he is both the screenwriter and director, it is currently in post-production, and has developed another TV series for Keshet International, "A Gentle Man", which is an LGBT themed crime series. 

Tobi’s work as part of Arisa‭, ‬a Tel-Aviv party collective which he founded‭, ‬was lauded by Haaretz as‭ ‬“one of the most positive and optimistic changes to have occurred in Israeli culture in general.” ‬His video work has been screened all over the globe‭ – ‬from Tokyo to the Sao Paolo Mix-Brasil Film Festival‭. ‬He currently resides in Jaffa‭.‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

Hilla Medalia / Producer

Peabody Award-winning filmmaker Hilla Medalia has received four Emmy® nominations.

Her projects have garnered critical acclaim and screened internationally in theaters and on television including HBO, MTV, BBC and ARTE.

Among her range of titles include ‘To Die in Jerusalem’ 2007 (HBO), ‘After the Storm’ 2009 (MTV), ‘Numbered’ 2012 (ARTE), ‘Dancing in Jaffa’ 2013 (Tribeca, IFC Sundance selects), ‘Web Junkie’ 2014 (Sundance Film Festival, POV (PBS), BBC) ‘The Go Go Boys’ 2014 (Cannes Film Festival), ‘Censored Voices’ 2015, (Sundance Film Festival and Berlinale), ‘Muhi – Generally Temporary’ 2017 (San Francisco Film Festival, HotDocs, AFI, Docaviv), ‘The Oslo Diaries’ 2018 (HBO, Arte, Sundance), ‘Transkids’  2019 (a five part series for yesDocu) and ‘Leftover Women’ 2019 (Arte, Independent Lens- PBS, New York Times Op-Doc). Medalia holds a Master of Arts from Southern Illinois University.

Gil Sima / Producer

Gil Sima is a film and TV producer, owner of Sima Films: an independent Tel Aviv based production company. Among the films produced by Sima Films: Girl Talk (2017), Set me as a Seal upon Thine Heart (2018, short), Hounds (2016, short) and more.

Sima attended the “Minshar” film school in Tel Aviv and studied film and Historyat the  Open University.

Sima Films’ different projects have been screened in major film festivals worldwide, such as Sundance, Locarno, AFI, BFI, and more, and have been broadcasted in various television platforms, including Amazon Prime Video (US), Fandor (US), Yes Docu (IL), Channel 8 (IL), Canal+ (EU), and more. Beetween 2017 - 2019, Sima has been holding the position of Executive Director of TLVFest, The Tel-Aviv International LGBTQ Film Festival. 

Paul Cadieux / Producer

Paul Cadieux is one of Canada’s leading and most active film and television producers. Among numerous other accolades, he has won a Genie Award for Best Motion Picture for the two-time Oscar‑nominated Les Triplettes de Belleville (Cannes Film Festival).

In his more than three decades as a producer, co-producer, executive producer and distributor, Paul has often preferred to operate out of the limelight while remaining centrally involved in dozens of major Canadian and international projects ranging from children’s animation series, thriller features films, romantic comedies, travel shows, reality programming, international co-productions, feature documentaries and TV series in both English and French.

Through his umbrellas, Megafun Productions Inc. and Filmoption International Inc., along with his extensive in-house equipment rental company and state-of-the-art post-production facilities, Paul has long prided himself on being well-positioned to be able to have a significant impact on projects he feels are both creatively and commercially viable and to provide the missing elements to advance a worthy production.

Among his many award-winning productions, we can find Danae Elon’s P.S. Jerusalem (TIFF and Berlin 2015), Shimon Dotan’s The Settlers (Sundance 2016) and Left Behind America for PBS/Frontline, Advocate and GAZA, both selected at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival, as well as Ido Mizrahy’s The Longest Goodbye (Sundance 2023) and Tünde Skovrán’s Who I Am Not (SXSW 2023).
