Robert Townsend is renowned for his paintings of the Americana landscape: matchbooks, candy wrappers, old clocks, vintage cars. Then he finds a new muse: Helen. Robert spends the next ten years devoted to painting just her. In this amazing film we discover why he, and now we, identify with and become charmed by this woman. From finding the first slide to gallery exhibitions, we explore the painter’s process and the impact of this one woman in so many lives.
